About the Item
A wonderful collection of three Dartington pottery mottle glazed small studio pottery bottle vases by renowned master potter Alan White (British, b. 1949) and probably dating from the latter 20th century. This stunning set of hand-thrown vases stand on flat rounded narrow bases with round bulbous bodies of varying shape and with and with raised narrow funnel shaped necks. Each vase is decorated in two tone mottled glazes, one with darked blue and brown glazes over a lighter blue ground with a section to the lower body. Another is decorated in pale lilac glazes applied similarly over a brick red ground which show around the neck of the vase and around the lower body and the third with deep mottled blue, red glazes over a lighter blue ground again showing to the lower body of the vase. Each vase bears impressed AW or W makers marks along with Dartington Pottery marks.

In excellent original condition with light wear associated with age and use.
