Antiqued Majolica Vase Red Blue Birds, Hand Painted Ceramic Vessel, Deruta Italy

About the Item

Vase in majolica with antiqued background characterized by a very slender body, it is made and hand painted in Italy, following the original Renaissance painting technique. The pure line of the product is embellished with a decoration of floral motifs and two red birds with blue wings. The vase was treated to obtain an antique effect that gives the work an ancient and timeless flavor. Dimensions: Height 53 cm (20,8 in.), Diameter 28 cm (11 in.) Colors: cherry red, antique blue, egg yellow, orange, vanadium blue, cerium white, antiqued finishing. The beauty of a deBlona majolica is determined by the ancient process, unchanged over time and handmade, which we observe to the letter in the creation of our artworks: painting ceramics is a very complex, fascinating and insidious art, but it is precisely the human and imperfect sign that makes every piece so characteristic and totally unique.
