About the Item
Beautiful flower vase with outstanding surface design and bird figures, probably made in Belgium by the Thulin ceramics manufacturer in the 1920s, the Art Deco period.
The Faiencerie de Thulin, was established 1887 and was famous for the virtuosity of its surface design through masterfully executed flowing glazes.
This vase was designed after nature; the round body becomes narrower towards the top and on the outside you can see reeds on which two birds have settled.
The surface is in many shades of color, from brown to green, red, white, etc. The flowing glaze creates a very dynamic effect.
Measurements approx.: height 12,99 in - 33 cm, diameter 7,09 in - 18 cm
This vase from a renowned manufacturer is in outstanding original condition, with no damage or chips or cracks. A jewel for any table or display case.
