About the Item

Tall vase from the Danish ceramic workshop Herman August Kähler (HAK). It has a stunning glaze with lots of red lustre and greyish elements. It looks very different from the different angles. It's made from earthenware and was manufactured in the beginning of the 20th century. It's attributed to Jens Thirslund. This ruby red glaze was introduced by Hermann A. Kähler in 1888 and is known as "Kähler Red". Handsigned with "HAK" Very good used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
