The Drago Bianco
About the Item
The Drago Bianco takes inspiration from the drug pots produced in Castelli (Italy) in the Orsini-Colonna style during the XV century. These vessels would have been used by an apothecary to store herbal syrups. This six-dragon-head ceramic is a new reinterpretation of the original pot which was especially designed for a wedding trousseau. The vase is handthrown and the heads are molded by hand and the original decor has been whited out.
