About the Item

A stunning Kralik Art Nouveau iridescent art glass flower head shaped vase with a wonderful opalescent body dating from circa 1900. The vase stands on a wided rounded slightly domed foot with a squashed shaped knop stem the body with ribbed sections and twisted and pinched wide flower head like top. The vase has a wonderful iridescent finish with swirls of rainbow colours in the natural opalescent body and even to the surface of the clear glass foot. The hand blown vase has a recessed snapped pontil mark to the base and is not marked. In good condition.
