About the Item

Large 1970s orange and brown "Fat Lava" jug vase manufactured by Carstens Tönnieshof in West Germany. Model No: 7315-45. The brown section towards the base has a mainly glazed finish which contrasts with the predominantly matt mottled finish on the rest of the vase. A very well made vase with interesting uses of finishes and the optic style of Fat Lava. The interior of the vase is also a brown glaze making it easier to keep clean especially if you've had flowers placed within it. The vase is in very good condition - no cracks or chips.
