Anita Harris Cobridge High Fired Ruskin Glazed Art Pottery Vase
By Anita Harris
Located in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire
An exceptional, impressive unique Cobridge pottery ruskin glazed vase by Anita Harris and glazed by Justin Emery and dating from around 2000. The large round bulbous stoneware vase stands on a round skirted base with a widening round body and short flared top rim. The body of the vase is decorated in high fired deep red glazes with green almost textured like markings and with a deep blue interior. The vase bears various impressed makers marks to the base and comes with an original Certificate of Authenticity recording this as a Trial Piece by Anita Harris and bearing her signature. The vase further has a red paper label from the Henry Sandon Collection sale at Mallams, Oxford on 23rd May 2012. Art Nouveau Asymmetrical Vase by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat
Located in Chicago, US
Much fuss is made about Dalpayrat’s signature red, but what many have not realized is that “Dalpayrat Red” refers not simply to a vivid red color glaze but just as often to a nuanced appearance of color resulting from the artist’s technical expertise navigating a complex play of minerals and various firing temperatures. Mossy greens, amber and chestnut tones dance together over Dalpayrat’s blood red base. The result is just as surprisingly modern as the geometric planes forming this asymmetrical vase...

Large Mid-Century Modern Stoneware Bottle Vase in the Style of Peter Voulkos
Located in Studio City, CA
A wonderful, richly multi-glazed and textured, heavy Mid-Century Modern large stoneware bottle vase. Expertly crafted. The piece is very reminiscent of some of Peter Voulkos' early hand-painted works with traditional shaped vessels, though we believe it was made by a different artist.
From a Los Angeles estate that featured many well know Mid-Century and California artists' pottery pieces, artworks, and furniture.
Marked "BOT 2" on the underside.

Pair of Royal Worcester Style Hand-Crafted Porcelain Vases Blush Ivory Austrian
Located in Miami, FL
A superb pair of vases made in the manner of Royal Worcester pieces that were made around 1890. These vases are uniquely shaped and have a blush ivory Japanese lotus decoration.
This style was influenced by the wonderful Persian artefacts that found their way to Britain and that soon became an influence on British design. You can see the finely carved and reticulated shapes on the surface of the neck of the vases.
The decoration on the body of the vase is done in the "blush ivory" style, which became popular in the late 19th century and early 20th century. This was based on the Art Nouveau movement in Europe and Aesthetic Movement in Britain, creating designs based on natural shapes rather than the familiar ornamental shapes from the Victorian times. The production process was complex; items received a glossy glaze on the inside, and a matt glaze on the outside. Colors were achieved by spraying an apricot-colored glaze near the rims with the newly invented "aerograph machine" - this was one of the first examples of air brushing.
Eye catching Pair of Austrian Hand-Crafted Porcelain Vases will enhance any setting. Each measures: 8" High x 4 1/2" Wide x 4" Deep
Outstanding Pair of Royal Austrian...
