About the Item

This budded vase is one of the more rare to find vases from the Royal Copenhagen "Baca" series. It was designed by Nils Thorsson in the late 1960s or early 1970s and features an abstract floral decor in brown shades with a little dark blue. The surface is tactile and the glaze is matte. This vase was manufactured in the period 1975 to 1979. Fully marked on bottom with Royal Copenhagen backstamp including the 3 waves, the initials of Nils Thorsson and the painter. The vase is a factory first edition and in excellent vintage condition.
