Original René Lalique 'Bacchantes' Vase Circa 1927.

About the Item

Introduced in 1927, the 'Bacchantes' vase has become an iconic design in the repertoire of one of France's leading exponents of Art Déco. This vase is of frosted 'demi-cristal' with traces of the original blue enamel patina. Moulded in relief with a frieze of nude dancers. Signed with a wheel cut signature 'R. Lalique, France' dating to the latter part of the 1920s.
