Pair Of Cerulean Blue Chinese Porcelain Hat Stands / Wig Stands
About the Item
A beautiful pair of polychrome porcelain cylinders, with bright enameled zoomorphic and foliate decoration in orange, rose, green and yellow on a striking and rare patterned ground color: cerulean blue. Quatrefoil piercings are spaced around the porcelain vessels. Ca. 1900, with blue under glaze character marks on the bottoms used during the Republic period. Very good condition.
