Pair of Japanese Edo Period Foliate and Bird Relief Decorated Bronze Vases

About the Item

An attractive pair of Japanese Edo Period bronze vases with relief foliate and bird decoration, probably dating to the early 19th century, in very good overall condition, with minimal surface imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. The bases have been drilled for conversion to lamps. Dimensions: Each measure approximately 11.25 inch H x 6 inch Diameter, with a 3 inch diameter rim x 4 inch diameter base.
