About the Item

This pair of large vases were made by the Scheurich factory of West Germany in approximately 1965, and done in their signature Mid Century Modern style. The vases are composed of molded ceramic, with a hand-painted glaze. The larger vase is done in a red/orange gloss, with an accenting black fat lava glaze. The slightly smaller vase is done with a matte finish using earth tone glazes. Both vases are signed with their original labels and both are signed with their respective model numbers and "W. Germany".
