About the Item

Handcrafted and painted modern platter designed by Spanish artist Ana Laso. ANA LASO BAEZA is an artist from Madrid who develops her activity fundamentally as a painter and, for a few years, also as a ceramicist. She trained pictorially at the Prado Workshop, the Atenea Academy, the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), and in the workshops of Miguel Coronado, Guillermo Oyagüez, Salvador Antúnez, and Paco Abuja. She considers herself a disciple of Salvador Antúnez, whose influence has been definitive in her career. She has also trained in sculpture with Natalia Solé and in ceramics she has found the universe in which she can merge paint and matter without using mechanical means. She has participated in various individual and collective exhibitions. She and she shared as a teacher some of her techniques on the Domestika digital platform.
