Unusually large piece from Søholm’s series of vases decorated with images of local buildings on the island of Bornholm where Søholm was based. This item depicts one of the four famous white medieval round churches still standing on Bornholm. Handmade and hand-painted barrel shaped vessel with a variety of green and blue colors on a clean white background. Stamped under base. Beautiful vintage condition. Denmark, 1940s
