About the Item

Cobalt blue and gold with two cartouches on the lid each with a winged cherub and a dove signed E. Froger. Perforated bronze strap with handles which is attached to the bottom of the bowl which is housed in a bronze base. Sevres marks on the inside of the lid and on the bottom of the base. E. Froger was a skilled painter who decorated pieces of glass and porcelain for Sevres. As shown in the photos, small chips, not visible when the lid is closed.
