Georg Jensen Pair of Sterling Silver and Crystal Decanters #100

About the Item

A matching pair of vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver ornate stoppers #100 by Georg Jensen and Baccarat crystal decanters. The heavy art nouveau stoppers are hand crafted with a great deal of hand chasing involved. Each hand hammered stopper with a series of vine branches connecting to silver beads. The heavy crystal decanters are Baccarat from France and fully marked on base. Both in very good condition, one with a minor chip on belly of decanter, barely noticeable. The crystal has no sign of glass pest and are both clear and appear to have never been used rarely. Dimensions: each measure 9 1/2″ (24cm) in height including stopper and 5″ (12.5cm). The circumference around the belly of each decanter is 14″ (35.5cm). Volume: each hold 670 ml (22oz.). Hallmarks: Stoppers are hallmark Georg Jensen sterling Denmark P10 (for 1989) and Q1o (for 1990). *Provenance: a private Danish estate, purchased new at Georg Jensen in 1990. The price is for the pair (2)
