About the Item
This pair of large wine bottle coasters are unsigned with respect to the maker, but originate from England and date to approximately 1920and done in a period Art Deco style. The bottle coasters are composed of silver plate with deep ribbed sides and a stylized rope around the rim with walnut stained turned wooden inserts in the bottom. These bottle coasters are clearly signed "Made in England" and "Silver-Plated" on the lower portion of the sides. The bottoms are covered in their original green felt.
