About the Item

This large teak bowl was designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk Designs in the 1960s. It is made of glued teak wood, which gives it a solid and practical construction. The bowl measures approximately 12 cm in height and 33 cm in diameter and is suitable for both use and decoration. Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a Danish designer and sculptor who worked as chief designer for Dansk Designs from 1954. He developed more than 4,000 different products, including bowls, cutlery and kitchenware, and many of his designs became popular both in Denmark and internationally.
