About the Item

This wonderful very large and rare Art Deco plate made in Sweden 1930s at Gustavsberg factory, was designed by Wilhelm Kåge. The name Argenta comes from the Latin Argentum and indicates the silver painting used to give the ceramic pieces life. It’s painted with sterling silver that where imported from the U.K and hand painted on to the already beautiful ceramic pieces. Very good condition. Measures D 46 cm, H 8 cm.
