Goldscheider Vienna stunning tall lady figurine: Spanish lady dancer. Designed by Stefan (Stephen) Dakon (1904-1997). Stefan Dakon was a well-known Austrian sculptor and ceramics artist. He worked in close association with Josef Lorenzl: Both artists produced many exciting bronze figurine sculptures of the Art Deco period. Their models were used among others by members of the association of bronze producers "Wiener Bronzen" ("Vienna Bronze"), as well as by the famous ceramics manufacturer Goldscheider from Vienna. Dalkon and Lorenzl designed models for the Austrian ceramics manufacturer Keramos, too. made circa 1936-1937 model number 7415 / 72 / 16 Hallmarked: Goldscheider WIEN (= VIENNA) stamp mark Made in Austria painter's signs existing & signed 'Dakon' at reverse side of base Subject: Stunning Spanish lady dancer clad in typical Spanish garments. The lady wears rose flower's blossoms decorating her dark hair / she is clad in long elegant as well as close-fitting green dress abundantly decorated with excellent ornaments of lacy - type. Finally, the lady dancer having high-heeled green shoes holds a large brownish painted fan excellently decorated with patterns of lacy - type, too. - The figurine is attached to black oval base.
