Large Lambeth 18th Century English Delft Charger

About the Item

A large blue and white charger decorated with a Chinese inspired garden and fence vignette, and a repeating scroll pattern border with a brown glazed rim. An identical example is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, attributed to Abigail Griffith and Morgan Thomas of Lambeth High Street, England, ca, 1785. Another identical example was retailed by noted porcelain dealer, Bardith, NY. Very good antique condition with light wear and typical glaze flakes for faience of this age to the rim glaze.
