Pair of Three-Color Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Plates signed by Lord Wedgwood

About the Item

A fine pair of blue jasperware plates. By Wedgwood. In three colors with white cameos of cherubs or putti and a dark blue hexifoil garland on a light blue ground. Each signed to the reverse in gold. (Also hand signed by Lord Wedgwood of Barlaston and dated 1989.) Simply a wonderful pair of signed, sophisticated Wedgwood plates! Date: 1989 Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There is a small amount of light staining to the reverse of one. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Wedgwood Marks: Marked to the reverse Wedgwood (copyright) / Made in England. One has an impressed CH, the other an impressed MR. Measurements: Diameter: ca. 8 7/8 in. Height: ca. 7/8 in.
