12 Steuben Handblown Rosa Crystal "Van Dyke" Supremes, Compotes

$6,500per set

About

This amazing and rare set of 12 hand blown crystal large compotes beautifully exemplifies Steuben's famous combination of "Rosa", peach-like colored stems, with clear crystal bowls and the original "Rosa" inserts. The wheel cut pattern is named "Van Dyke" combining stone cutting and polished decoration which creates a dramatic contrast and a frosted appearance. Perfect for an elegant presentation of dessert, fruit and best of all caviar or shrimp cocktail. The incredibly rare separate matching "Rosa" inserts are used for cocktail sauce or to hold the caviar in a bed of shaved ice. These are part of a large and complete 60 piece service for 12 including the sizes and shapes pictured below.
