About the Item

Decorate a shelf or a counter with this antique "Aiguiere" (or ewer). Sculpted in Rouen, France, circa 1960, the delicate, ornate faience pitcher sits on a round base, and is dressed with a large scrolled handle on one side, and a sloped spout on the other. The ceramic jug is decorated with hand painted floral and leaf motifs on both sides, and embellished with a central medallion featuring a basket full of colorful flowers. The tall porcelain vase is in excellent condition and has "Rouen" marking on the underside for further authentication. A wonderful addition to your French faience collection! 8.5"W x 4.5"D x 13.25"H
