A fine antique white opaline or opalescent glass cup & saucer. With handpainted flower garlands to the body of the cup & the rim of the saucer & traces of original gilding. Simply a wonderful early cup & saucer set! Date: 19th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with no cracks or repairs. Condition Details: There are chips to the saucer's edge, minor fritting to the cup's rim, and significant rubbing to the gold of both cup & saucer. Otherwise, there is some minor wear to the decoration, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marks: Unmarked Measurements: Cup: Height: ca. 2 1/4 in. Width: ca. 2 7/8 in. Depth: ca. 2 1/8 in. Saucer: Height: ca. 1 in. Diameter: ca. 4 3/4 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
