About the Item

Bohemian glass vase, manufactured by Johann Loetz Witwe, Flecken und Streifen decoration, ca. 1900, Green, Blue, Viennese Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, Art Deco, art glass, iridescent glass. This vase stuns with its bright green color and specs of blue. The decoration is called "Flecken und Streifen" which translates to "spots and stripes". It was a an early decoration of the Loetz manufactory but rose to great popularity through Koloman Moser and his pupils who used this decoration on a number of occasions. Even though this vase was made over 120 years ago, the color of the glass is still as bright as ever, which speaks for its quality and fine craftsmanship.
