Loetz Enamelled Arcadia glass vase Bohemian c1898

About the Item

Fabulous, good sized, Loetz glass vase in the Arcadia pattern (opal over green) a low bowl/vase decorated with the Dek pattern I/II (Anemones in purple and red) and in the shape PNII-124 c1900. -It's unusual to find a Loetz vase so well documented and examples can be found on most of the research sites for Loetz. Arcadia was one of the first of the great Loetz iridised designs made from 1896 onwards -the shape of this examples tell us this example dates to 1900 Loetz was, and still is, probably the most famous and most collected of the great Bohemian glass makers.
