Loetz Small Enamelled Arcadia glass vase Bohemian c1900

About the Item

Fabulous, Small, Loetz glass vase in the Arcadia pattern (opal over green) a small vase with the Dek pattern I/8 (Lotus flowers in red, green and gold) and is in the shape PNII-165 dating to 1900. To show off the fabulous colours we have photographed the vase in partial sunlight and against white and black -It is very unusual to find a Loetz vase so well documented and examples can be found on most of the research sites for Loetz (one famous one actually uses this example). Arcadia was one of the first of the great Loetz iridised designs made from 1896 onwards -the shape of this examples tell us this example dates to 1900. Loetz was, and still is, probably the most famous and most collected of the great Bohemian glass makers.
