About the Item

A refined Art Nouveau marbled glass vase attributed to Johann Loetz Witwe, Bohemia, circa 1900. This piece is executed in the celebrated “Onyx” décor, featuring vivid swirls of crimson and cream over a translucent celadon ground. The tall, elegant neck is richly adorned with enamelled floral panels in burgundy and gold, highlighted with delicate gilded contours and dotwork, exemplifying the refined craftsmanship of the period. The vase stands 21 cm high with a diameter of 11.5 cm, and remains in excellent antique condition with minor wear consistent with age. Unsigned, as is typical for many early Loetz works, but stylistically and technically consistent with authenticated pieces from the same series.
