Rare and Important Loetz Phaenomen Vase PG 29 1900 -signed

About the Item

An exceptional and fully documented Loetz Phaenomen Vase. This example is documented as Phaenomen pattern PG 29, the colouring is called bronze and it has blue silver trailing making a window like effect. Amazingly even the shape is fully documented; it is PN II 400 and was only made in the year 1900. It is also signed LOETZ AUSTRIA. As well as being well documented it is also a delightfully pretty cabinet vase. Loetz was, and still is, probably the most famous and most collected of the great Bohemian glass makers. The most sought after pieces are signed examples of the Phaenomen range -as this example is -as well as being the finest pieces they were made in exceptionally small quantities with rarely more than 30 examples being made of a particular model.
