About the Item

Handsome set of Mode Danish serving cutlery and steak knives by Regent Sheffield Cutlery in a gorgeous teak and stainless MCM – Mid-Century Modern design. Each set is in their original box and in fabulous vintage condition. They have been used, so do have some scratches to the stainless as you would expect, but the handles are perfect, circa 1960s. This cutlery is beautiful, beautifully designed, and beautifully made. Mode Danish was designed and made circa 1960s by Regent Sheffield who is touted for their international standard for excellence. These pieces are comprised of a gorgeous teak handles that are fabulously tactile in nature and feel wonderful in your hand and stainless steel blades and fork that the original brochure, which is in the original box that comes with these pieces, states that the blades are skilfully crafted from special formula stainless steels and retain their mirror Brite finish forever; and, that the cutting edges are micro-honed to everlasting razor sharpness. We are offering two originally boxed sets in this listing. The first is a set of six steak knives and the second is a three-piece cutlery serving set comprised of large carving knife, smaller carving knife, and meat fork. They are priced together. You need to make them yours.
