A burnt orange enameled sheet metal and horsehair brush and tray by the Bauhaus artist and Industrial designer Marianne Brandt (1893-1983). A functional, simple design exemplifying the best of Bauhaus metalwork. A fine example of pre-war modern design in very good original condition. Marked: D.R.P. Ruppel.
