A Stoneware Pitcher Attributed to Pierre Digan, France circa 1970
About the Item
A Stoneware pitcher attributed to Pierre Digan, France, circa 1970. This elegant, wheel-thrown piece features a striking contrast between the unglazed speckled terracotta base and the upper section coated in a celadon green crackle glaze. Its sculptural yet functional form—with a flared body, pronounced spout, and generous handle—is characteristic of Digan’s work during his time in La Borne and Vézelay.
Excellent vintage condition with natural craquelure in the glaze and no visible chips or restorations.
