19th Century French Silver Hotel Dome Serving Piece Food Warmer Dish Cover
About the Item
This elegant French hotel dome is lavishly adorned with a band of scrolling grape vines and hanging bunches of grapes. Its top handle is a pomegranate resting on a bed of leaves. Silver plated over copper, this elegant serving piece was originally used to cover food in order to keep it hot. A dramatic presentation of culinary delights at the dining table or a showy centerpiece on a sideboard. Marked 10M Argent Fougere.
