Copeland & Garrett Late Spode Blue and White Filigree Pattern Platter

About the Item

A very large blue and white Filigree design platter by Copeland & Garrett Late Spode 1833-1847. Transfer printed design with draining channels, in deep cobalt blue set against the white china. Makers marks to the rear in both printed and incised form. A beautiful piece of early Victorian blue and white china. Historic repairs, including a fabulous staple repair to the back and some nibbling to the underneath lip stand. Length 53cm x Width 42cm x Depth 8cm.
