Fives-Lille French Faïence Majolica Art Nouveau Shaped Artichoke Server

A French Majolica glazed Artichoke server, circa 1900, in the Art Nouveau style, by Fives-Lille. A chocolate brown colored shaped plate showing two globe Artichoke heads glazed in pink and yellow with a border of stylized leaves glazed in shades of green. Marked with an impressed mold number: 1391 Reference: pg. 141, Artichauts et Asperges en Barbotine, Maryse Bottero Measures: 11.25 in. L x 9.5 in. W x 1.25 in. H. Glaze pops to the chocolate ground, kiln effects. Light surface wear.
