19th Century Copeland Cachepot

About the Item

A lovely Copeland cachepot, hand-painted with cartouches of fruit and flowers in the 18th century manner, surrounded by garlands of foliage and gilding. The rounded body sits on a rim of rococo The rounded body sits on a rim of rococo shell-shaped feet, whilst the top rim is decorated with repousséd flower motifs. English, late 19th century, beginning 20th century.
