Antique 19th Century Sèvres Style Ormolu Mounted Vases With Cover

Antique 19th Century French porcelain potpourri vases, adorned with ormolu mounts in the Sèvres style. Each vase boasts two graceful handles shaped like cherubs, adorned with delicate floral motifs cascading down to the base. The lids feature charming ormolu cherub figures, encircled by intricate borders, while the body of the vases is elegantly bulging, adorned with meticulously detailed cartouches depicting delightful scenes of putti engaging in various activities and noble portraits. The vibrant Sèvres blue glaze is accentuated by lavish gold foliage motifs, and at the base, female figures support floral embellishments extending towards the handles. Although unsigned, the porcelain is attributed to Sevres, showcasing unparalleled craftsmanship and artistic finesse. CONDITION In Great Condition - Wear expected with age.
