Chinese Porcelain Serving Bowl for Export, Qing Dynasty
About the Item
Chinese porcelain serving bowl for export, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period (1736-1795). Polychrome external decoration with a detailed and colorful scene, representing traditional figures seated and dressed in typical costumes, in a landscaped environment full of life. The vibrant tones of yellow, blue, red and purple contrast harmoniously with the white background of the porcelain, bringing depth and dynamism to the composition. Additionally, delicate floral bouquets and arabesques frame the scene.
Inside the saucer, an elegant hand-painted bouquet of flowers decorates the bottom of the piece. The flowers, in shades of pink, orange and blue, are accompanied by leaves and small buds, creating a delicate and naturalistic effect. The presence of this internal detail highlights the care taken in the decoration, making the piece even more special.
