Large Meissen Figure of a Standing Lady

About the Item

A beautiful large 19th century Meissen porcelain figure depicting a standing maiden in period dress with elaborate floral decoration raising her apron. her corset and borders made from fine dipped lace. The figure is supported by a rock and is based on a square earth plinth with white rocailles raised in gold. Blue Meissen crossed swords mark underglaze. Circa 1870.
