Designed by Ernst August Leuteritz (1843-1850)
Leuteritz studied at the Academy of Arts in Dresden and was leader of Modeller's Department at Meissen Manufactory in period from 1849 until 1886. Having become Professor in the year 1882, Leuteritz created a large range of items such as figurines, vases, clocks and candlesticks in Rococo as well as in neoclassical style: The sculptor is the most productive Meissen modeller of the historical-revival period.

The young God Of Wine-Bacchus - being enthroned on a wine cask holds up a glass with red wine (he seizes a sceptre by left hand) / additionally, following figurines are gathered next to Bacchus' feet: A small lovely winged cherub with wine glass - this cupid is handling at spigot of wine cask ... further a boyish satyr, this
one with wine glass, too, and a nymph with pot / jug. There is a grapevine attached to backside of figurines. Rocky base existing.
