Minton Pate Sur Pate Porcelain Basket, Dated 1867

About the Item

A fine Minton pate sur pate porcelain basket, dated 1867. The celadon green ground lattice worked basket, supported by two Bacchanalian cherubs, and set upon scroll feet. The cherubs hold between them, a graping vine swag, suspended over twin oval medallions to either side of the basket. Impressed factory mark, model number and date code for 1867 to the base. Medium: Porcelain Height: 15 cm, 5 7/8”. Width: 25 cm, 9 7/8”. Depth: 16 cm, 6 3/8”. Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
