A pair of pale blue Flight Barr Barr Worcester oval-shaped dishes with lavishly glided gold gadrooned edges. The centers are decorated with delicate sprays of hand-painted pink and purple flowers (see image #4). It is the combination of the soft baby blue with the lavish gold and the beautiful painting of the flowers which makes these dishes so beautiful. In this pattern we have a total of six dishes including a second pair of oval shaped dishes and an outstanding pair of square dishes price $900 for the pair. History In 1788 George III, following a visit to the company, granted the Worcester factory a royal warrant, and it became known as the "Royal Porcelain Works". During the late 18th and early 19th centuries the Worcester factory produced some of the finest porcelains in all of Europe.
