About the Item
An exquisite pair of monumental hand painted blackground Chinese porcelain Urns. lead based glaze.
Bottle shaped body with an open neck is made of the finest porcelain. A collection of spring flora including hydrangeas, white cherry blossoms, and other flora. Decorative animals such as birds, ducks, and phoenix adorn the motif. A small pattern breaks up the composition on the lower halves of the vase. Light reds, violets, greens, teals, and blue details are utilized over a black background color.
No obvious markings on the piece.
In very good condition.
These impressive pieces would make a great statement in an entrance hall, foyer, reception hall or formal dining room.
