Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Imari Style Pedestal Compote

$475

About

This is a Royal Crown Derby porcelain compote hand painted with bright red, black, white and 22 carat gold. It depicts a large flower in the round center against a gilt foliage black background. Around it, there are squares of red flower alternated by squares of gilt netting squares with diamond center. Gilt white bands separate each one of the squares. Two gilt white handles decorated with acanthus leaves joined by an acorn are in each side. A serpentine square pedestal is decorated with the same pattern. Under it, the hallmark of Royal Crown Derby is found.
