About the Item

Set of five flat plates in Limoges porcelain from the Haviland manufacture. These collectible Haviland plates, dating back to the 19th century, showcase delicate porcelain paintings and gilding depicting portraits of young women, likely courtesans at the French court. The artistic rendering of these elegant ladies was executed with great finesse, reflecting the craftsmanship of the time. The Limoges porcelain used for these plates exhibits meticulous craftsmanship along the edges.
