Set of 12 Mintons ‘Gold Crocus’ Bread or Dessert Plates, 6"

About the Item

Set of 12 Mintons ‘Gold Crocus’ Bread or Dessert Plates, 6", England, circa 1920s A charming and refined set of twelve Minton porcelain plates in the elegant ‘Gold Crocus’ pattern, produced in England circa 1920s. Measuring 6 inches in diameter, these petite plates are ideal for bread and butter, petite desserts, or as accent dishes in a layered formal table setting. Each plate features a stylized hand-painted crocus motif in warm gold at the center, framed by deeply molded spiral fluting along the rim and a scalloped gilt edge. The raised, swirling relief design reflects light beautifully and adds a dimensional elegance that complements both traditional and modern settings. Marked on the underside with the Mintons crowned globe hallmark and pattern number H4765, these plates reflect the firm’s reputation for refined ceramic artistry. The condition is excellent across the set, with only minor, expected signs of use consistent with careful age. A lovely addition to any collection of fine English porcelain or the perfect finishing touch to a gold-accented tablescape. Dimensions: 6" diameter
