Trio in "Marriage" pattern. Worcester C1770.
About the Item
A fine trio in soft-paste porcelain, decorated with the Marriage pattern.
The pattern is so-called as it carriers a bow and arrow hidden in the flowers, symbolic of love. A variation of this was ordered as the Royal Marriage service made around 1780-82 for the royal family's use at Kew House.
A nice example of a scarce pattern.
