Cup as well as saucer or rare form type: Handled Cup Shaped As Snail / Saucer Having Appearance Of A Round Clam Vienna / Old Imperial Austrian Porcelain Manufactory (= Alt Wien / Kaiserliche Porzellan Manufaktur) dated 1826 Hallmarked: -- painter's number 137 applied in golden characters: JOSEF GEYER (active 1802 - 1836) -- former's number 11 -- modeller's sign 'W' = Kaspar Dondl -- Viennese Blue Beehive Mark (underglazed) Dated '826 (= 1826) It is porcelain of highest quality, manufactured in period when Matthias Niedermayer had direction of Viennese Imperial Porcelain Manufactory (1805 - 1827). Subject: Saucer and cup made of white porcelain are partially painted (violet / greyish / turquoise shaded), shaped as snail and round clam / therefore these ones are of very special form type - being of naturalistic appearance ... additionally, cup is gilded / gilt inside. Please note: Cup and saucer having same form type (but with different paintings) had once been exhibited in Viennese Castle of Liechtenstein in year 1910 (please look at the referring pictures attached here). Finest manufacturing quality / quite rare ! Size: Height (handle included) length of cup (handle included): 3.54 / 4.92  inches (= 9.0 / 12.5 cm) Depth of cup: 2.91 inches (= 7.4 cm) Length / depth of saucer: 6.10 / 5.90 inches (= 15.5 / 15.0 cm) Excellent condition (= Museum Quality !) There aren't any damages existing, even the gilding is perfect!
